The New Year has begun and unfortunately too many of us are already experiencing challenges keeping our 2018 goals. So how do you stay on track to ensure 2018 is your most successful year?
The first step is to continuously review your goals. Each day it is important to look at your goals. The more you review each goal, the more your goal seeps into your subconscious mind. Why is this important? The more you look at your goals and visualize the outcome, the more excited you become and the more positive emotions you create. These positive emotions cause us to vibrate at a higher tone and energy, which begins to rewire our brain. This process helps breaks the habit of our old thought patterns, eliminating doubt, uncertainty and fear. When this occurs you will see the opportunities that exist all around you, making your goals more achievable. Success starts with a clear vision and belief system that success is inevitable.
Secondly, outline the action steps that need to occur to produce the results. Each day should begin by identifying the behaviors and actions you need to accomplish to move one step closer. If possible do this at the beginning of your day, therefore you will awaken with your action plan ready to go.
Now it is time for… 20 seconds of courage. Acknowledge the blockers that exist in your life that have held you back in the past: fear, guilt, anger, self-sabotage, laziness, envy, lack of or misdirected focus. Now ask yourself, “what will my life and business look like when I overcome this blocker?” Once you visualize your outcome, the more motivated and driven you are. The last step is stop worrying about the mistakes. In fact, if you aren’t making mistakes you are not trying hard enough. Forget the mistakes and learn the lessons. The gems are in the lessons. Embrace this concept. It will eliminate the negative self-talk and emotions that sabotage your results. This becomes the fuel that helps you become a goal slayer.
